Terms
Using NameFew means you agree to these. They're short.
The basics
- One person, one account. Don't make extra accounts. Accounts that arrive together and behave the same get discounted or removed.
- Don't judge names you own or have an interest in, or names a friend or client owns. Don't ask others to vote a name up or down.
- No bots, no scripts, and no scraping the appraisals or the sales we show.
- We may remove an account, an answer, a listing or a message at any time, especially to keep the appraisals honest.
Appraisals are opinions
The robot's range, the AI's opinion and the humans' range are estimates of what a name might sell for. They are not advice, not a guarantee and not an offer to buy or sell anything. Domains are risky, so check comparable sales yourself before you spend money.
Buying and selling
- Listings. List a name only if you own it. We check with a DNS record and re-check from time to time. If the record goes missing, the listing is paused.
- NameFew passes messages between buyers and sellers. It isn't a broker, an escrow service or a party to any sale. It doesn't hold money, transfer domains or vouch for a buyer or seller. A deal is between the two of you, including payment and transfer. An escrow service is a good idea.
- Messages. Keep them honest and civil. No spam, threats or the same message to many sellers. Anyone can report a message and we may act on it.
Your content
What you write (feedback, listing notes, inquiries) stays yours. You let us show it where you meant it to be shown, such as a listing on the site or an inquiry to its owner. Don't post anything unlawful or anything that isn't yours to post.
The service
NameFew is an experiment, provided as it is. It may be wrong, slow or offline, and it may change or end. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using it or from deals made through it.
